As Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, Cliff provides leadership for all facets of Cordos’s operations. Combining over 25 years of executive and senior management experience in the design, construction, and development industries, Cliff brings a balanced and highly informed approach to each client’s project.

Cliff has successfully executed dozens of projects in commercial, institutional, and multi-family markets. He has extensive experience in preconstruction, field operations, project management, and managing large teams of interdisciplinary personnel and design professionals in the execution of large complex projects on time/within budget through aggressive cost and schedule management, and building/maintaining professional alliances with clients, users, A/Es, subcontractors, suppliers, and code officials.

Prior to joining Cordos in 2012, Cliff worked for several national and local design and construction firms. In the early nineties, he co-established a self-performing design-build practice at Wight & Company, where he managed many of the firm’s largest design and construction projects, including the Kane County Courthouse, Kane County Juvenile Justice Center, DuPage Airport, and Lemont High School. He followed with a similar practice at HDR, where the firm teamed with Hensel Phelps in the DOD design build of the $100 million Pentagon Remote Delivery Facility. In 1999 Cliff joined two colleagues to form Bedar Dwyer & Behm, a local design and construction firm and in 2003, joined a Chicago-based developer to lead the design and construction of the $30 million Pointe 1900 project in the South Loop.
